Whitelisting Players

Whitelisting Players via the Console

  1. Log into Your Server Control Panel:

  2. Access the Console:

    • Once logged in, select your Minecraft server from the list of available servers.
    • Navigate to the Console section in the control panel.
  3. Enter the Whitelist Command:

    • In the console input field, type the following command to add a player to the whitelist:
      whitelist add <playername>
      Replace <playername> with the actual Minecraft username of the player you want to whitelist.
  4. Verify the command worked:

    • Look for a confirmation message in the console indicating the player has been added to the whitelist. It will typically say something like Added <playername> to the whitelist.

 

Whitelisting Players via In-Game Commands

  1. Join the Server:

    • Log into your Minecraft server with a player account that already has operator status.
  2. Open the Chat Window:

    • Press T or / to open the chat window.
  3. Enter the Whitelist Command:

    • Type:
      /whitelist add <playername> Replace <playername> with the username of the player you wish to whitelist.

  4. Confirm the command worked:

    • You should receive a confirmation message in the chat indicating that the player has been added to the whitelist.
